Southern Highlands Garden Tour

Forget the harbour sparkle for a minute and picture this: the scent of damp earth and blooming jasmine, the gentle crunch of gravel underfoot, and perhaps the faint, distant bleat of a sheep somewhere in the cool, crisp air. We're trading city grit for country charm, swapping our favourite Kings Cross gelato for a slice of serenity amongst some truly spectacular flora – and you're invited to join us.

What is it? This is your exclusive invitation to the *What's In Sydney* Southern Highlands Garden Tour, a curated excursion into the region’s most breathtaking private gardens. This isn't just a bus trip; it’s an expertly guided journey through verdant landscapes, offering direct access to the passionate gardeners and designers behind these masterpieces. Running as a day-long event, you’ll be transported from Manly direct to a hand-picked selection of stunning properties. Expect intimate tours, insightful commentary, and plenty of opportunities to soak in the beauty, all organised with our signature flair for unforgettable experiences.

Why go? Because life’s too short for concrete jungles alone. If you’ve ever found yourself scrolling through images of impossibly perfect topiary or dreaming of a cottage garden straight out of a storybook, this is your chance to step into that dream. We’re talking about rarely opened private estates, brimming with botanical wonders you won't see anywhere else. Beyond the sheer visual feast, this tour offers a chance to recharge, to breathe in genuinely fresh air, and to learn from the best in the business. It’s perfect for green-thumbed enthusiasts, aspiring landscape artists, or anyone simply looking for an aesthetically pleasing escape from the ordinary.

Need to know We’ll be departing from a convenient spot in Manly, so plan to arrive a little before our Thu 23 Jul 2026 departure. Comfortable walking shoes are an absolute must, as you’ll be exploring a fair bit. Dress in layers, as the Highlands can be a touch cooler than Sydney, even in late July, and don't forget a hat and water bottle. Lunch and refreshments are included in the price, which ranges from $210–$450 depending on your chosen package – we recommend booking pronto as spots are strictly limited for this exclusive experience.
