Pittwater Sunset Sail

Forget your rooftop bars and Bondi Instagram snaps – the true Sydney magic unfurls on the water. Picture this: the city’s iconic skyline ablaze in fiery orange, the gentle lapping of waves against the hull, and a cool Aperol Spritz in hand as the sun dips dramatically behind the distant Blue Mountains. This isn't just a boat trip, it's a front-row seat to one of the world's most spectacular natural light shows, a scene as unforgettable as a late-night kebab on Oxford Street.

What is it? This is our inaugural "What's In Sydney" Pittwater Sunset Sail, an exclusive event whisking you away from the hustle and bustle aboard a luxury catamaran for an unforgettable evening on the shimmering waters of Pittwater. We’re talking a two-and-a-half-hour cruise beginning just before dusk, designed to showcase the stunning natural beauty of the northern beaches as the day transitions to night. Expect a relaxed, curated experience, with a focus on good company, breathtaking views, and a touch of indulgence. We, your friendly neighbourhood lifestyle purveyors, are behind this whole shebang, ensuring a smooth sail from start to finish.

Why go? Because you deserve to see Sydney in a new light – quite literally. This isn't your average tourist cruise; it's a chance to unwind, decompress, and soak up the sheer beauty of our coastline from a unique vantage point. Imagine the golden hour casting its spell over Barrenjoey Headland, the twinkling lights of coastal homes beginning to appear, and the quiet camaraderie of fellow Sydney-siders enjoying the moment. This sail is perfect for anyone looking to escape the daily grind, celebrate a special occasion, or simply appreciate the unparalleled beauty of our harbour city. Romantics, photography enthusiasts, and anyone in desperate need of a chill evening will find their happy place here.

Need to know Meet us at the Manly Wharf ferry terminal – it’s easily accessible by public transport from Circular Quay, or a short walk if you're staying locally. Dress smart casual, but definitely bring a light jacket or jumper as it can get breezy on the water once the sun sets. We'll be boarding promptly at 5:30 PM for a 6:00 PM departure on Friday, August 28th, 2026, so don't be late! Tickets start from $65, and booking ahead is essential as spaces are limited – this isn't the kind of experience you want to miss out on.
